My lucky number and I’m a lucky girl! This collection of self-penned songs shows the evolution of Elisabeth as an artist, lyricist, and composer; raising the bar to a new energetic level of urban sound, while staying in touch with my acoustic folk roots. I’m happy to be working again with my favorite producer and collaborator, Filippo De Laura, who runs a fun, productive, and successful recording session!

We are pleased to record this portion of the disk in Rome, Italy, at Delta Top Studios, with proprietor Claudio Bartolucci and assistant sound engineer, Marco Cecilia. We have a stellar italian rhythm section featuring Marco Siniscalco (contro bass, fretless electric bass) and Andy Bartolucci (drums). Completing the Italian line-up is our good friend: versatile and tasteful guitarist, Fabiano Lelli, on classical guitar. In addition to an exceptional italian rhythm section, the album features a super special guest guitarist and ambient electronic effects master, Leander Reininghaus, who brings his secret ingredients from Berlin! This recording will be further developed in New York by producer Filippo De Laura. Filippo plays a wonderful collection of hybrid stringed instruments (The Root, Banjola, Chapman Stick), plucked and bowed, to create unique and surprise acoustic sounds.

I am very excited to have this new electronic element by Leander Reininghaus to provide a spacious atmosphere for the emotion of the songs to be transmitted to the audience. Leander and I will be touring and performing live in duo as, “Songs and Sounds“.

Last but not least, a most important presence, the inimitabile and invisible Ari Takahashi capturing our experience live in photos and video. The album is tenatively titled, “Silence is Rising“. It will be available for purchase and streaming after release in early 2019.
